Day 8 - Eucla to Ceduna

BYE-BYE WESTERN AUSTRALIA...HELLO SOUTH AUSTRALIA!!!

Another cruisy start with breakie at Eucla, then it was packing up camp, our first shower in 3 days and then on to the road. We crossed the boarder about 12k's up from Eucla and were now into South Australia...a state we have both never been into before!!

One thing we definitely learnt as soon as we came into South Australia - is that you definitely need to add time on to your trip when you come into the South Australian coast - because the amount of times we stopped today to get out and stare at the amazing views was crazy!!

Every few k's there was another look out point and we just couldn't help ourselves!! Lot's and lot's of photo's were taken today! I have decided to let the photo's do most of the talking today - as we are both absolutely wrecked!!! And plus - no amount of words will be able to describe how amazing these sites are!

Then we arrived at Nulabour Roadhouse...like many of the little "town's" there really wasn't much to see!! So it was bathroom stop and then back on the road.

A bit further up the road we came to the Tip of the Australian Bight - wow. Seriously - our coast lines in Australia are just incredible. Only bad thing I have to say about here was the flies!! I finally saw my first lizard! Glad I didn't miss this one seeing as it was about 20cms away from me this time!!!

Back in the car and we were heading towards Ceduna - taking a detour off the main road and onto a beaten track to check out Cactus Beach - renowned for it's awesome surf and Great White Pointers! Well there wasn't too much surf to speak of today, however the view didn't disappoint. We decided to push onto Ceduna - so it was back in the car for our last leg of the day.

Coming into our caravan park of choice, right on the beach, we hadn't even thought of booking - as that is just not something we've had to think about!! However, all accommodation was booked!!! So it was back into town to the Big 4 caravan park where alas we had to stay in a cabin as there was no camping spots left here either!!!! We've decided to stay a couple of nights here...and will check out what the town has to offer tomorrow.

We headed down to the beach for some fish and chips and to watch the sunset. Once again, I have to say it - we really do have the life at the moment!

Love and hugs for the first time from South Australia.
